Juries

As the official U.S. Representative to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, NCM, will facilitate the selection process by inviting nominations for each jury spot allocated to the U.S. for 2017. The Cannes Lions Team will make the ultimate selection of jurors, ensuring that each jury contains an even balance of geography, gender, skill and network.

Qualifications:

  • Innovative, creative, highly recognized within the industry; must be a specialist in the category/categories of interest
  • Previous award winner required, including Cannes Lions
  • Previous judge at Cannes Lions or other prestigious award competitions

Note: Coordination through your global agency network should be organized as limited invitations will be sent worldwide and you could be competing with colleagues from other offices for these jury positions.

Cannes Lions 2016 – U.S. Jury Members

Below is the list of U.S. jury members for the 63rd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. These jurors were chosen through a rigorous selection process and had the privilege of judging over 43,000 global entries at the Festival this June.

In 2016, Cannes Lions launched the Entertainment Lions and Entertainment Lions for Music as part of a two-day Festival which celebrated creativity that turns content into culture and innovative musical collaborations. The highly successful Lions Innovation Festival, celebrating pioneering technological creativity, continued in a two-day format.
